Well, I'm sure by the time you read this you will have heard the news that Ellen is out for Season 10. Randy Ricco could not console me.
Will Idol even be worth watching with no Simon and now no Ellen? I looked forward to people like Tim Urban performing just so I could take a lesson in how to make fun of someone without sounding mean (I still don't have the hang of it, btw). And I liked her snappy little ties.
J-Lo is apparently close to signing a contract. But what is the point of having J-Lo AND Kara? Don't they serve the same purpose? Rumor has it that Jessica Simpson is also being considered. Now we're talking. But, I think they should sign Jessica Simpson only if Nick Lacky agrees to join her. Because Newlyweds was some quality tv.
Who else would be good? Harry Conick Jr. did a heck of a job as a mentor--he would be a great choice. What about Bill Cosby? Jerry Seinfeld? Larry David?
